Welcome to my site! My name is Erica, and I am one year into a life-long journey of discovering my true self. Transitioning, to me, is so much more than finding the right body to match my soul (although that’s a HUGE part of it). I look at it as trying to become the best version of myself, seeking personal growth as well as honest and open connection with as many people as I can possibly reach.
I strive to be someone that can lift others up and be of service to those that need it most. Starting this blog is the most effective and natural way to do just that.
Arriving at the decision to transition was no easy task, and I received a lot of help and inspiration along the way from the trans men and women that were willing to put themselves and their experiences out in the open. It is my hope that in sharing my story so candidly I can do the same service for others that was provided to me.
My mission is ultimately to educate trans and cisgender people on both the transition process and the transgender experience (as I have come to understand them) for the purposes of inspiring personal growth and fostering compassion for a lesser-known demographic of people.
As the title page suggests, I am also seeking to find strength in my vulnerabilities and to help you find your strength as well, that you may feel enabled to tackle whatever situation life is throwing at you. I’ll gladly welcome questions as well as topic suggestions for future posts!
